2011 Black History Month Program 10900 Inwood Avenue Silver Spring, Maryland February 7, 2011 The Greater Washington, DC Presentation Team had the opportunity to discuss the history of the Buffalo Soldiers at Glen Haven Elementary School, Silver Spring, Maryland. The young students were eager to learn of this overlooked Black History, Military History and American History.
